This document provides instructions to use Zeroframe on a Tokenframe. With this setup the Zeroframe application will open up automatically after restart. You’ll be able to reset the frame back to Tokenframe if you desire to.
- Start your Tokenframe display.
- Plug in a keyboard and mouse on the USB ports. Press Ctrl + Esc to open the Android Settings.
- If the Tokenframe app hasn’t completely initialized, you might get returned to the Tokenframe app after a moment – if so, press Control + Esc again to get back to the Settings screen
- Download the Zeroframe APK from https://zeroframe.art/zf.apk and put it on a USB drive.
- Insert the drive on the back of the frame, go to Settings → Storage → USB and double click the APK to install it
- Make Zeroframe the Home App so it boots automatically on start:
- For the 21.5’’: Go to Settings → Apps → App Settings (gear in upper right corner) then Home App → select Zeroframe
- For the 43’’ and 55’’: Go to Settings → Apps → Zeroframe → Home App → select Zeroframe
- Reboot. It might ask if you want select the Zeroframe app as launcher, which you can select ‘Always’
- After restart, you should see a screen with a pairing code. The Tokenframe app may reappear briefly after a few seconds, but the Zeroframe app should retake the screen. This should only happen once.
- On your computer or phone, sign up or log in to zeroframe.art. You can use the code HAPPY25 to get 3 months for free.
- Create a frame, and add the pairing code
- You should now be able to push artworks to your Tokenframe. Enjoy!
